TIES at 30 and the birth of the Center for Deep Montessori
Celebrating the Journey. Carrying the Work Forward.
Thirty years ago, TIES launched its Master of Education programs in Integrative Learning and Montessori Integrative Learning, becoming one of the early pioneers of fully online graduate education.
But the deeper experiment was never about technology. It was about learning itself.
From the beginning, TIES asked what might happen when graduate education became a living process, shaped through inquiry, dialogue, reflection, relationship, and experience. Over three decades, more than 600 students from 50 countries have entered that learning community.
On October 24, we gather to celebrate that journey and ask what comes next.
Faculty, graduates, students, friends, and members of the wider Montessori community will come together for an evening of story and dialogue. We’ll hear from graduates about their TIES experiences and the ways the program continues to live through their work and lives.
We’ll also mark a new threshold with the launch of the Center for Deep Montessori, an initiative devoted to exploring, preserving, and carrying forward the deeper essence of Maria Montessori’s evolving vision.
Not simply an anniversary.
A gathering around thirty years of becoming, and the possibilities still unfolding.
