Meet the Visionaries of Syntropy
At the heart of our seminar stands Dr. Philip Snow Gang - a pioneering educator, researcher, and profound interpreter of Maria Montessori's cosmic vision. With five decades of experience bridging Montessori philosophy, cosmology, and transformative education, and personal friend of 3 generations of the Montessori family, Dr. Gang has been instrumental in expanding our understanding of education as a cosmic endeavor.
Host

Dr. Philip Snow Gang is the Founder of The Institute for Educational Studies (TIES) and its graduate programs in Integrative Learning and Montessori Integrative Learning. A pioneer in integrative, systemic, and transformative education, he has authored several books and developed educational tools, including the mobile mind-mapping simulation "Our Planet, Our Home." Dr. Gang holds Montessori teaching credentials for ages 3-12, has been instrumental in developing Montessori secondary initiatives, and has been a trainer of Montessori teachers, maintaining a longstanding friendship with the Montessori family since the mid-1970s.
Panelists
Our distinguished panel of speakers brings together extraordinary minds dedicated to exploring the deeper dimensions of Montessori principles:
Exploring the spiritual dimensions of learning
Steven Arnold is a dedicated Montessori educator with extensive qualifications, including five Montessori trainings from ages 0-18, a Master's degree, and multiple teaching certifications. As the principal of Auckland Montessori College, he oversees three campuses and embodies a philosophy of continuous learning and adaptation. Steven's passion for Montessori education and his recognition of love's importance in life and the universe inform his approach to leadership and teaching.
Advancing Montessori pedagogical insights
Kathy Leitch brings over 40 years of experience in Montessori education, having taught at various levels and founded Renaissance Montessori School. As the Executive Director of the International Montessori Council (IMC), she now focuses on supporting Montessori schools and adult learners worldwide. Kathy's extensive background includes roles as a Montessori Teacher Trainer, International Workshop Presenter, and School Consultant, complemented by her credentials from the American Montessori Society and certifications in parenting instruction and stress management coaching.
Connecting cosmic evolution to educational practice
Jennifer Morgan is an award-winning author, storyteller, and educator, known for her Universe Story Trilogy used in Montessori classrooms worldwide. As president of the Deeptime Network, she offers educational resources and professional development for teachers exploring cosmic education. With a background in theology and business, Jennifer has dedicated over a decade to presenting programs on the universe story, believing that cosmology profoundly shapes our culture and institutions.
Investigating systemic approaches to holistic education
John brings a wealth of experience from his decades as a Montessori educator, having taught in Ohio, California, and Colorado after studying in Bergamo, Italy. He holds a Master's in philosophy and a Doctorate in Transformative Education, and has created educational resources like the Timeline of Light. John now resides in Evergreen, Colorado, where he continues to contribute to Montessori education through mentorship and innovative approaches.
Deepening observational practices
Pauline's journey in Montessori education spans over three decades, beginning with her work with children and adults with Special Needs. The birth of her two sons inspired her to co-found Nova Montessori with Marsha Snow Morgan, recognizing the profound impact of schools on shaping children's lives and worldviews. As a key figure at Nova Montessori, Pauline continues to engage in the ongoing dialogue of life at the school, working alongside children, educators, administrators, and parents in this vibrant educational community.
Exploring dialogic transformation in educational settings
Mischul Brownstone helps individuals trust themselves and discover effective, fulfilling ways of being through touch, movement, and presence. Rooted in Bohmian Dialogue and inspired by Moshe Feldenkrais, his work fosters emergent learning and deep awareness of our interconnectedness. He created The Language of TouchSM to support self-care and mutual care as part of a larger cosmological consciousness.
Moderator
Moderated and produced by Tammy Oesting, a visionary in connecting Montessori wisdom across global platforms, this seminar represents a unique convergence of thought, practice, and cosmic understanding.

Together, these educators embody the spirit of syntropy - bringing order, love, and purpose to educational practice, and illuminating the profound potential of education as a transformative force for individual and collective evolution.
