The TIES-ENDICOTT program is a model of learning for the future. I have observed various on-line and graduate courses over the past ten years and the TIES program stands out as a leader in this field. A learning environment has been created that has a structure and process that enables a depth and breadth of learning that offers the students a unique experience in graduate education.
As a program for educators it is unparalleled in its ability to bring forth the core motivations, individual perspectives and heart felt passions of the participants in a way that enables them all to develop and transform themselves and their teaching/learning careers.
The program is conducted at a distance through frequent and regular written
exchanges among all the participants. The written texts and conversations
are prima facie evidence of an education process of significant individual
impact and learning.
The fact that students are dealing with their day to day lives and completing
their degrees at a distance provides an opportunity to test the validity of
the content and process of the program on a day to day basis. Often there are
unprompted written testimonials confirming this by the students themselves.
The overall approach of the program, while not traditional, is achieving
an impact and learning that is probably not matched in its profoundness by
many other graduate programs for teachers.

My decision to enroll in the TIES Masters program proved to be a milestone in my life. It was like diving into the ocean from a little well. The virtual seminars allowed the complete freedom of integrating life experiences with theories. They offer an opportunity to bring diverse social, cultural and educational ideas and practices into a single forum. I learned how everything on Earth is interrelated and interdependent. This learning brought a significant change in my personality, attitude and professionalism.
The beauty of this program is that it is not limited to merely a single discipline; rather it engages multifarious aspects of human life that need an immediate address should we guarantee a handover of this planet to our children as a precious gift. The program substantiates the importance of 'conscious education' in postmodern era so as to stimulate every individual to walk along the inevitable path of human congeniality to nature.
I was able to reshape my thinking faculty and develop my confidence both in my profession as an educator and in my further study in the University of Sydney where I carried out a research study on 'environmental conceptions of university students'. Now I am in the UK and have recently started my doctorate in conflict and education. Collaborative learning was an eye opening experience in my academic life. I learned to think differently, far away from 'blind acceptance of knowledge' to critical outlook to it before making a judgment, a dialogue process and learning through discussions. In my retrospection, I realize that all my lectures and research activities have been influenced subtly by integrative learning.

This program has changed my life and it can change yours. Integrative education allows you to embrace interconnection and interaction, construct meaning, and deepen your personal and professional life. TIES will allow you to learn how to learn and learn how to teach in holistic, non-fragmented ways; and you can do this in a safe, exciting, and enriching environment.

I was a full-time professional,
but I knew I wanted to complete a masters degree in as little time as possible
without cutting back my work hours. I also knew I didn't want the typical
academic experience and that I was looking for a program that would empower
me to pursue my calling in the world.
The TIES Masters Program in Integrative Learning not only met all three
of those criteria, but it excelled my expectations. This masters program
is literally the most exciting, transformative thing I have done in over a
decade!

The thing about the Endicott-TIES program is that you are exposed to stimulating concepts, yet it is through your own initiative that you can change your level of consciousness. So if you do, it is authentic not static learning, it is a personal process for creating your own integration within your self. That is what learning is supposed to be like.
What I learn is valuable to me, it helps me in reaching my own fullest potential while realizing my connection and place in relation to things affected by my actions.

As everything in the universe is connected, this context must be the new paradigm for life, including teaching and learning. Included in this context are the interrelated topics: integral learning, ecological literacy, contextual thinking, virtual communication, and dialogue.
For me, integral learning means experiencing how everything is interrelated; or it can mean learning in an "everything is related" way. The ultimate view of integral learning would be a combination of both of these simultaneously. That is what I believe we have been doing here on the M.Ed. program: learning how everything is interrelated, or integrated, IN an integrated manner.
